由张艺谋担任总导演的2008北京奥运会开幕式文艺表演《美丽的奥林匹克》在鸟巢精彩呈现。上篇名为《灿烂文明》，下篇名为《辉煌时代》，以中国特有的“绘画长卷”为线索，将中华民族五千年的文明以及时代气息当代中国人民的精神风貌一一展现。

i'm proud to be a chinese,
although i'm not the real China citizen, but at least i'm a 华侨 in the world who still knows how to speak, write, and read chinese~
and still we practice some chinese customs..
